fredross-perry jogux: the latest iOS build (1.8.0.10) is meant to be tested. But if you’re changing anythin and I should rebuild,00:07.41
  let me know00:07.45
jogux fredross-perry: nah, I don't need to change anything, just add a new tag in exactly the same place as the existing one00:08.04
but let me try your build anyway00:08.07
fredross-perry ok.00:08.20
I think I figured out that there’s a lag between the time a build is uploaded, and the time I can actually produce a crash report. I was able to mke two crash reports today, after a sufficiant amount of time went by. And the reports appeared pretty quickly.00:09.37
I’ve been putting in a build number like 1.8.0.x, since each upload to the itunes store requires a different one. I assume it’s OK to leave thatalone when submitting for approval.00:11.09
jogux fredross-perry: ah, making it's the symbol processing (or the upload of the symbols into the cloud) that takes ages then00:12.26
fredross-perry: The version number stuff on iOS is an acquired skill, or whatever is the right expression for describing going up against unwritten rules and hoping to win.00:13.18
fredross-perry: it's preferable in general if we can keep the version number at 1.8.0 and increment the build number for each itunesconnect upload. Though tbh it's not hugely important.00:14.19
if I need a 1.8.1 tag creating anyway, it may make sense to commit your version number changes (tweaking it to be 1.8.1 first), push that to golden, then tag that as 1.8.1 and you can do your final itunes build from there, then we have a vaguely consistent 1.8.1 release onto iOS.00:16.26
fredross-perry: anyway, I tested your latest release on an iphone and ipad, both seem to work, and I can see them appearing into the answers stuff.00:17.22
fredross-perry in iOS, the version number is “1.8”, and the build number (currently) is “1.8.0.10”00:17.23
jogux oo, funky.00:17.34
fredross-perry Answers is very groovy btw.00:17.56
jogux it is :-)00:18.03
fredross-perry For the 1.7.1 that’s currently for sale, the build number is “0”.00:18.22
jogux Yeah....00:19.08
fredross-perry we can do that (1.8.1) but it’s a little funky since there’s never been a released 1.800:19.27
jogux we wouldn't be the first people to skip over a version number :-)00:20.25
fredross-perry ;-)00:22.00
Robin_Watts tor8: For the logs. Malc reports that DEBUG_SCAVENGING is now broken.22:09.22
