[bug-gs] 8.12: a number of minor issues

Ah, okay.  It wasn't clear to me that humans were necessarily involved
in converting bug-report forms into bugzilla entries; I thought maybe
some software automatically converted anything conforming closely
enough to the Bug-form form into a bugzilla bug.  (Yes, I did have a
look at making bugzilla entries myself.  Something kept going wrong,
though, and I never did get it to behave.  I prefer email anyway....)

Okay, I'll do that.  Expect two reports once the list moderator gets
