Matt,
PLease send a test file that exhibits the problem, including a
description of where to look for the lines.
I'm assuming that you used the "autogen.sh" (which invokes the
autoconf utility) to configure for the make. Please also send
the Makefile created by autoconf.sh so we can examine the gcc
switches that you used. If you manually generated a makefile
from unix-gcc.mak, please forward that.
Also you didn't say what device you are using when you observe
the lines. If you aren't specifying a -sDEVICE= command line
option, please send the output from "bin/gs -h" so we can see
what default device you are using.
Lastly, you may want to download the 8.11 AFPL release which
has many bug fixes from 8.00. We will be releasing an 8.12 in
a few weeks with even more fixes and features. Announcements
will be on www.ghostscript.com or you can subscribe to the
gs-devel at ghostscript.com mailing list.
Regards,
Ray Johnston
