[bug-gs] eps with preview in postscript file

Hello all,

I've a problem to view a postscript file which has included an eps
file with binary preview.

My First quesion: Is it allowed to have the eps (binary tiff)
preview inside a 'normal' postscript file, or is the whole file
invalid?

If it's not valid, knows anyone a resource where to find out such
questions (specifications)?
