Steve,

Please send the file or submit a bug at bugs.ghostscript.com and attach the
file. We haven't really seen that, but if we see the file we can analyze
it.

Also, it may be that some items are not being displayed due to those
items being identified as 'screen' or 'print' the -dPrinted=... option
may be of use. Please see: doc/Use.htm/#PDF_switches
