Buy a new computer and next time don't do such strange stuff.  ;-)

Seriously, I'll let one of the guys more familiar with the Windows
install, and the use of the Registry by gswin32 to give you some
advice.

BTW, I've had this same problem with purchased software such as
Norton Anti-virus, Intuit Turbo Tax and Adobe Photoshop. I fell
back to deleting the directories manually and using "RegEdit"
to clean up other traces. Also with some apps I've had to search
for all *.ini files and clean up some of those.

Further, I recommend that you copy the registry (system.dat and
user.dat) and rather than removing files, move them off to some
"save" folder (I don't trust the "Recycle Bin".
