[bug-pcl] Problem with fonts and escA

Hi
i have various documents in PCL to convert to PDF and i'm having some problems.
one of my PCLs have in its ESC comand some ESC A  commands
in a real printer (HP2200) this commands are ignored, but in the GhostPCL
they are treated as a request for font page (print a list of fonts)
is this the right way ?
if so, is there some way i can make Ghostscript behave like the 2200
