[bug-pcl] Conversion problems for certain images

Unfortunately I can't send a copy of the pcl file. However, I've narrowed
down the problem to drawing rectangles in PCL. As soon as one is drawn, any
images afterwards appear incorrectly. This is the PCL (as part of a C
sprintf statement) :

\x1b\x25\x25\x30\x42;IN;SP1;IW;SC0,3.3867,0,-3.3867,2;IR0,100,0,100;PW.2;PA%
d,%d;ER%d,%d;\x1b\x25\x25\x30\x41

It works fine when I remove these.

Cheers

Manoj

Try to an image file format jpg, tiff etc.
If this works then it is either a pdf image bug or
not representable in the current pdf.

PCL's imaging model of using rops to draw is a pain when rendering to pdf
and requires hoops that we currently aren't jumping through to get both a
correct image and searchable text ie highlevel objects.

Either way we can't help much without a test file.

Best regards
./Stefan

Hi all

I've got issues with converting a couple of raster images in a pcl in the
target pdf document. The converted images appear in the PDF document,
however it adds solid bar lines near the end and on one of them it appear
compressed vertically. One of them converts ok though.

Thanks

Manoj
