[bug-pcl] displaying special characters does now work correctly

Hi Marcus,

Did you really mean 'cut' ?
I wouldn't expect this to work as it will mess with the CRLF characters 
in the file.  Use 'cat'.

non-7bit ascii characters can have encoding issues to pdf.  This is a 
known bug.
