Hi,

Does any one have a clue ( or better a detail description ) for me how I can
use BARCODE fonts with pcl6 to create a PDF document.

We have a Program which writes a pcl output direct to a HP Printer or a FILE.

In the File there is a pcl code to change to the BARCODE Font on the Printer:

^[(8Y^[(s1p12.00v0s3b0T

The Font is first send to the Printer and is a HP Graphics File.

But I haven't fount a way to get the Fonts useable for the ghostpcl so that
the output to the PDF looks ident with that created on the Printer.

The BARCODE is printed as plain text, and the rest looks god (- Line,
BOLD, ... everything else is ok).

I have fount a description on this Mailinglist - but I can't work thru. And I
am not sure If this is what I want.
(
http://ghostscript.com/pipermail/bug-pcl/2004-February/000174.html
)

I need a littel bit more help.
- Where to get a Barcode FONT.
- How Install this Font to worke with it.
- Some other Changes are needet,...

I use the pcl6 Version: 1.41 under Linux Suse 9.3

If this mailing list isn't the right place, let me know where I should send my
question.

Thanks and Best Regards

Dietmar
