[bug-pcl] Trouble compiling on x86_64 system

I am trying to compile on an x86_64 system: RedHat AS release 4 (Nahant
Update 3)
 
However, the compile is failing in file "gs/src/gxchrout.c:37" because of
undefined variable 'd'.  I can't see any variable 'd' on that line and am
wondering if it has a problem with the 'double' variable declaration one or
two lines above that one?
