           Summary: Issue Rendering Composite Glyphs
           Product: GhostPCL
           Version: trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P4
         Component: PCL interpreter
        AssignedTo: henry.stiles at artifex.com
        ReportedBy: vancejc at gmail.com
         QAContact: gs-bugs at ghostscript.com

Hello,

I'm currently running the lastest release of GhostPCL (1.51 with a patch) on
32 bit Windows Vista Ultimate (non-sp1).

When running a particular PCL6 job which includes a font which uses composite
glyphs, I noticed a problem that GhostPCL was showing when rendering
particular glyphs.

It seems that the composite parts of the glyphs were getting drawn without any
offsetting, such that each part was being drawn at the origin of the composite
glyphs itself (rather than the offset to where the individual piece is
supposed to exist).

I've included a screenshot of the problem here:

As well as the pcl6 file which generated it here:

Let me know if I can provide you with anything else.

Thanks again!
Jeff Vance
