Sure enough, it is a line ending problem inadvertently caused by adding a file
to the svn repository without setting the 'properties' for eol-style and
keywords.

Rev 8577 (on March 2, 2008 -- just two days _after_ the 8.62 release) fixes
this issue. There were actually two files affected.
       src/gsromfs0.c
       src/psromfs.mak

I will attach these two files (from the current rev, 8820).

Please test and confirm that the problem is resolved.
