BTW, do we still want a new device method for erasing a page ? It would be 
natural to define it for this problem and handle it especially in 
gx_device_printer. It is also useful for pdfwrite, ps2write. Other gx_device 
subclasses don't need the erasepage optimization, so only gx_device_printer 
will need a field for saving procs.
