The attached PostScript file is opened in portrait mode by Ghostscript head (r9648) and earlier versions.  
Both Apple Preview and Adobe Acrobat 9 open the file in lansdscape mode.

The command line I'm using for testing:

  bin/gs -sDEVICE=tiff24nc -o test.tif ./GEMUSE_1351543.1.1.ps
