If you don't want to build darcs, you can do a recursive wget on the repository
to get a copy of the source. For example:

  wget -r -nH -I mupdf -X mupdf/_darcs http://darcs.ghostscript.com/mupdf
  find mupdf -name index.html\* | xargs rm
  rm robots.txt

will get a copy of the latest source.
