Revision 10541 fixes the problem with pdfwrite, caused by not checking a return
value and exercising the code with an invalid type 0 font.

As noted this file also exposes the "Can't refill scanner input buffer!" error,
patching round this makes the job run to completion on Linux so I believe this
issue is resolved and will be fully resolved when bug #690909 is fixed.
