Summary: Part of image lost when converting from ghostview
Product: GSview
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P4
Component: General
AssignedTo: gsview at ghostgum.com.au
ReportedBy: mark.murphy at riotinto.com
QAContact: gs-bugs at ghostscript.com
When I convert a postscript plot (using the File-Convert option in GSview
(Version 4.9)) to jpg or any other bitmap format the first part of the plot is
lost (not produced in the output). However if I use the Edit-copy option and
past the clipboard into some graphics package, there is no problem. The lost
data problem also occurs when printing to a pdf printer (such as pdf995 or
acrobat distiller) using the Windows GDI printer option in GSView.
I can send example files showing the problem if that will help
