A second customer has reported the same gradient issue with tiffsep.  The
attached file is a simpler test case.

Note that there is a separate issue with this file when converted with the
tiff24nc device.  The gradient steps are smoother but the center of the image
is not correct.  I'll attach a screen shot showing the problem.
