The file fts_17_1714.pdf is rendered by Ghostscript 8.71 and head (r11532) with
the image incorrect when compared to Adobe Acrobat 9.3.3, see the attached
screenshot.

The test is described as "Image Dictionary SMask - shape (PDF 1.4)".
