The default font distributed with Ghostscript is Nimbus substituted for Times. 
This font is not appropriate for Unicode typesetting because it is
encoding-based.  So updating the generator to produce Unicode, even if you
could explain to me what exactly you mean by that, would actually break things.

Using -dJOBSERVER does not make ISOLatin2Encoding available for finding.  As
for other ways, the best way is to add the encoding resource to the
distribution.
