Look, this is really an inappropriate place for any further comments. If you
ask people to do "rm -rf *" and they are gullible enough to follow your
instruction, that's not the fault of GNU coreutils, and you cannot ask the GNU
people to special-case "rm -rf /*" and provides extra-prompt for the "-f"
switch where wide-cards are involved. The -f switch is documented not to
prompt.

I am sorry, because of the persistent disregard about the proper use of
