Please fix your Fontmap file to be:
   /LuxiMono (luximr.ttf) ;

Note the space before the ';'

The directory '.' is NOT on your search path as it was with 8.71 (refer to
the -P- default behavior in 9.00)

Also you can try -P or -I. to place '.' on the search paths.
