Summary: consider grid-fitting rectilinear paths
Product: MuPDF
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 7
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P4
Component: fitz
AssignedTo: tor.andersson at artifex.com
ReportedBy: zeniko at gmail.com
QAContact: gs-bugs at ghostscript.com
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Attachment 6804 from bug 691689 misrenders* most likely due to hairline fills
being anti-aliased:
1 1 0.604 scn % the expected yellow
63.48 738.92 216 -0.06 re f
63.48 738.68 216 -0.06 re f
63.48 738.44 216 -0.06 re f
% etc.
Grid-fitting these paths before filling them might take care of the issue, so
please consider grid-fitting rectilinear paths to achieve the expected
rendering for such a case.
Note that Adobe Reader "mis-renders" the document in a similar way if the
"Enhance thin lines" option is disabled.
* Misrenders means that the title backgrounds on pages 2 and 3 appear
semi-transparent when the apparently expected result is a solid color
