putting utf8 text on the clipboard should have an abstracted interface like
winclipboardput(char *) so that other commands could if needed place text on
the clipboard 

i wrote a patch for this using the xclip utility but unfortunately even though
that works it's horrible and only works with gnome terminal and not gedit so
i'm asking for working copy and paste like mupdf has in windows
