gs8.71 vs gs9.02: color distorted

Hi, I have an eps images that shows different color when viewd with gv or when
transformed to pdf with the last version of gs (tested with 9.00, and svn 12157
(Tue, 15 Feb 2011)).
I am attaching a screenshot with the same image transformed to pdf (epstopdf)
with gs 8.71 (left) and gs HEAD (right).
