$ gs872 -q -dBATCH -dSAFER -dQUIET -dNOPAUSE -sPAPERSIZE=letter -r1200x600
-sDEVICE=pbmraw -sOutputFile=test872.pbmraw test.ps

It's great.  No problem.

$ gs901 -q -dBATCH -dSAFER -dQUIET -dNOPAUSE -sPAPERSIZE=letter -r1200x600
-sDEVICE=pbmraw -sOutputFile=test901.pbmraw test.ps

Scretches the font!!!!
