On current code (9.03 pre-release master) the file completes quickly (a couple
of seconds). You haven't supplied a command line for us to use, so I tried:

gs -sDEVICE=png16m -sOutptuFile=\temp\out.png UABC2011_002.pdf

You claim to be using Ghostscript 8.70, if this is true I would suggest
upgrading to something more recent as the most likely way to resolve this. If
the problem persists then please reopen this bug, and supply a command line
which exhibits the problem.
