Hi all,
i run into a strange problem.
I have a Word document (not only one) which has a lot of eps graphics (produced with gnuplot) which use a non standard ps font.
>From Word i "print" this using FreePdf_xp (which uses ghostscript) to PDF.
After that I use gs to convert this PDF to postscript on the fly to send it via lpr (cygwin) to a printer.
This works fine.
But if I "print" the same document to PDF/A (with FreePdf_xp) the printer stops printing before the first graphic. (using gs and lpr)
If I print it out from the Acrobat reader no problem occure.
If I add the font file to the eps graphics it works, but it blows up the size of the files, because for every eps the font file is put into the eps file.(Not to mention that I have to add the bold font file also)
I did not find a possibility to add this font file(s) only once for the whole document and use it for all the graphics.
I hope some one can give me a hint or add the needed code to gs ;-)
Have a nice day
Norbert
