With the PS2PDF conversion, the FT seems to be a time hit. This attachment
is the profile with -dDisableFAPI and with this option, the time for the
ps2pdf timing (with single invocation) goes from 1.9 down to 1.3 seconds.
With GS as a server, converting the input.ps file 10 times, the time goes
from .85 seconds down to .28 seconds !!!

Note that for the other conversion steps -dDisableFAPI doesn't seem to help.
