It sounds to me like you either haven't downloaded/unpacked thirdparty.zip, or
you have downloaded the wrong thirdparty.zip.

I would advise you to redownload the mupdf source (the rc1 for v1.0 is now
available from our website) and to also get the current thirdparty.zip from the
website (http://mupdf.com/download).

The Android app has been much improved in this version.
