Created an attachment (id=8519)

contains the pdf and ps files

As told in the irc channel I provide you with several files that I experimented
with (they are in the "kyocera_issue.tar.bz2"):

Unbenannt 1.pdf : This one works with the poppler cups filter, but takes
ages/freezes the kyocera in "processing..." state with ghostscript output

poppler.ps : This file converted with the poppler pdftops util. Prints if sent
with netcat

ghostscript.ps : This file converted with the ghostscript pdf2ps util. Won't
print because it lacks the previously introduced kyocera workaround

ghostscript_filedevice.ps : This file converted to ps with the cups FileDevice.
Takes ages to transmit to the printer with netcat and will not come out in
reasonable time (takes 15 minutes or so). Please note its size.

-------------------------------------

Unbenannt.pdf : The "Unbenannt 1.pdf" file with the image removed with pdfedit.

ghostscript_filedevice_without_image.ps: This file converted to ps with cups
and its ghostscript filter. Prints nicely with if sent with netcat to the
printer.

-------------------------------------

One last thing that I noticed: When the printer takes a long time to process
the ghostscript postscript, the netcat commands takes the same amount of time.
When the netcat command finishes and shows the files as transmitted, the
printer pretty much immediately starts to print out the file. All this time the
printer shows "processing..." as its status.

Thank you very very much for your efforts!
