           Summary: Strange results from PDF_1.7_FTS/fts_24_2426.pdf
           Product: Ghostscript
           Version: master
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 7
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P4
         Component: Graphics Library
        AssignedTo: marcos.woehrmann at artifex.com
        ReportedBy: ray.johnston at artifex.com
         QAContact: gs-bugs at ghostscript.com

During cluster testing of commit aa9f730 I got a SEGV:
   tests_private/pdf/PDF_1.7_FTS/fts_24_2426.pdf.cups.300.1 x6 Seg_Fault
but couldn't reproduce it locally, and when re-running the cluster test it
went away (indeterminate). Then after pushing the commit, the automatic cluster
test gave:
The following files are showing a new mismatch between banded and page mode:
   tests_private/pdf/PDF_1.7_FTS/fts_24_2426.pdf.pbmraw.300.1
   tests_private/pdf/PDF_1.7_FTS/fts_24_2426.pdf.pkmraw.300.1

Something peculiar about this file.

I see this file turning up repeatedly.

Unfortunately git-bisect won't help with something this sporadic. I searched
my Trash folder and I see this going back to commit 122575 Oct 6 2011. My gmail
shows this as the first occurrence of fts_24_2426 since 8/28/2011 commit
4d4b6f.

However commit 122575 is not a likely culprit since it only modifies the way
PDFFitPage sets up the initial matrix when this option is used.

I haven't tried repeated runs to see if I can reproduce the problem.
