--- Comment #5 from Marcos H. Woehrmann <marcos.woehrmann at artifex.com> 2012-05-21 15:29:36 UTC ---
Sorry the analysis took so long; there were several changes that affected the
timing, so it wasn't a sample matter of running git bisect. Also for reasons
that I don't understand there was more noise in the timing results, as much as
a 10% change from one run to the next.

I've attached a plot showing the changes in timing, the numbers listed on the
the bottom are the number of commits since
4916cc6cd1a8d5eb8ef411b4c00952dfea44b36f (which corresponds approximately to
GhostPDL 9.04). I've also attached the complete log of commits vs. timing; the
interesting points are:

time commit
328.83 58722d520578050aad3d81c0f5fb477bc701a944
400.13 2b91a85069d421465220a83c82ea491733d15017
...
403.65 77a8045048a4aaa727f700187816170d7fbd072c
449.83 2c4aa5f1a90ee03aacce58f24b819cab3bdd1625

Btw, my timing results aren't as dramatic as listed in comment 3:

9.03 14;50
9.04 07:52
9.05 10:05
master 11:28

I can't explain this either.
