[gs-code-review] Proposed patch for 688362 image dropouts

My intuition about T-joins at the parallelograms resulting from the
combining of equal pixels into runs turns seems to be borne out by the
fact that this patch eliminates the dropouts.

Given that we're not doing the run combining at all, my feeling is
that the "skewed" case could be simplified into a simple loop over
pixels, mapping and painting a parallelogram for each one, but here
I've chosen a patch with minimal impact.
