#595375 - INTERNAL - Type 2 winction with C0 C1 numbers
reported by: alexcher

Adobe interpreters accept numbers as values of /C0 or
/C1 parameters of Type 2 function contrary to PLRM.
Adobe also published smooth shading samples that use
this feature.
#595378 - INTERNAL - Wrong rendering of pattern with shading
reported by: alexcher
assign: ??
Adobe has published smooth shading samples
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/technotes/samples/smoothsh.zip
File pattyp1.ps is rendered incorrectly by GS 7.23.
Besides, conversiob to PDF fails with limitcheck in show.
#595760 - USER - Fix for buggy font subsets
assign: igorm?
The attached file contains buggy font subsets which still render in Acrobat
Reader. Ghostscript fails with: Error: /undefined in
--.type2execchar--.

assign: rayjj?
customer: #440
When processing testfont.pdf, the following error occurs several times:
PDF format error: stream operator not terminated by valid EOL.
#596228 - USER - bad font handling/overlapping characters
assign: igorm?
The user has several examples of files which do not distill correctly with
7.22 and CVS HEAD.
#596284 - USER - font spacing/ragged edge on text column
assign: igorm?
Noticeable degradation between 6.51 ps rendering and pdf generated by 7.23.
There are irregular/jagged edges, most noticeably on the left column of
bottom part of the first page.
#596394 - INTERNAL - (pdfwrite) Wrong glyph width (093-01.ps)
reported by: igorm
assigned: igorm
CompareFiles/093-01.ps generates PDF with a wrong
width of 'T' in th text "5401 Tech Circle, Moorpark C A ,
93021". Source PS has a replaced Metrics which is
missed in PDF. CVS HEAD, Windows 2000.
#596494 - INTERNAL - buggy 093-01.ps
reported by: igorm
assign: ??
CompareFiles/093-01.ps is either buggy or obsolete. It
redefines Times-Roman with different Metrics without
removing /UniqueID, /XUID, /FID, /OrigFont. This causes
interpreters to produce an unintended output.
#598014 - USER - Invalid Japanese font handling
assign: ??
User has problems searching pdfs with japanese fonts created with ghostscript.
Acrobat appears to work fine.
#598108 - CUSTOMER - embedded MM fonts not found
customer: #411
assign: rayjj?
When rendering or distilling MM test.ps, ghostscript
tries to find the specific instances of the font
instead of the embedded multimaster.
#598118 - CUSTOMER - invalid postscript file fails
customer: #680
assign: rayjj?
File plan72.EPS fails with Error: /undefined in nd.
This file fails with an HP printer as well, but the
