NEW BUGS
--------

#598746 - USER - Characters too wide using Dual Head
assign: ??

User is using dual monitor display. When the screens show separate images
all of the fonts are widened and distorted in Ghostscript. If they show
the same image, everything works fine.

#600243 - CUSTOMER - pdfwrite creates invalid pdf from PS7
customer: #411
assign: igorm?

When processing ICCXiconkopietest.eps (a Photoshop 7
EPS file) with CVS HEAD pdfwrite, the resulting pdf
file cannot be read by ghostscript. The error on
reading the pdf is:
**** Unrecoverable error in xref!
Error: /rangecheck in resolveR

#600281 - CUSTOMER - mem_mapped2_copy_mono() incorrect
customer: #760
assign: rayjj?

Customer reports:
During developing, I found that mem_mapped2_copy_mono()
in gdevm2.c didn't copy opaque images correctly and
caused a lot of noises ( small dots and stripes )
in the resulting bitmaps.
Changing a for loop to do-while made the problems disappear.

#600288 - TOPTEN - /undefined in --setcolorspace--
customer: #150
assign: rayjj?

File vtm2k.pdf fails in gs721 and gs722 with /undefined
in --get--, but in HEAD with /undefined in
--setcolorspace--. Customer reports that if the
embedded profile is removed, the file processes fine.
Acrobat Reader renders the file fine either way.

#600855 - INTERNAL - Distilling a PDF enlarges FontName
reported by: igorm
assign: ??

Running pdfwrite with a PDF document enlarges
FontName for embedded fonts, adding '?' at end.

#601238 - INTERNAL - segv due to s_init_filter ignores errors
reported by: igorm
assign: ??

s_init_filter calls template->init without checking its
return code. Perhaps it can (and sometimes does)
return with VMerror. Particularly,
s_zlib_alloc_dynamic_state leaves ss->dynamic set
with NULL and the subsequent writing causes segv.

#601255 - INTERNAL - segv while device finalization
reported by: igorm
assign: ??

gs_closedevice may call pdf_close, which allocates
streams for writing PDF resources, after some allocators
are stopped to allocale memory. The result is a segv.

#601336 - CUSTOMER - MacOS Native Font Support
customer: #651
assign: giles?

Customer reports that native font loading on the Mac is
not supported. We are currently working on adding this
featuer. This is just a place holder bug during
development.
