NEW BUGS
--------

#687138 - INTERNAL - pdfwrite is adding poor UCR functions to output files
submitted by: dan
assigned: igor

This problem was found while checking bug 687109. That bug was
complaining about non solid colors in the output file after converting
NECPNTD.pdf. That problem was caused by a poor UCR function in the
output file. The pdfwrite device should not add BG and UCR functions
that were not present in the original file. Failing that, the UCR
function should be zero.

#687139 - INTERNAL - fuzzy.c wrongly handles CMYK
submitted by: igor
assigned: alex

fuzzy.c handles 1 or 3 channels only. Comparing images from pkmraw the
result is incorrect.

#687142 - INTERNAL - Misleading dates in "The complete list of regressions"
submitted by: igor
assigned: ray

The dates in "The complete list of regressions" look as a time when a
baseline was created. We wanted a date of a code checkpoint for the
baseline creation. We believe that there is no way to compute the
latter from the first due to occasuonal failures, which can happen on
casper. For example, if a baseline creation fails and it is being
restarted in the next day with the old code checkpoint.

#687145 - USER - PDF Conversion to TIF

User complains that PDF file won't convert to tiff, but neither Alex
nor I have been able to reproduce this. Waiting for a new test file.

#687146 - INTERNAL - (pdfwrite) CalRGB wrongly converts to ICCBased
submitted by: igor
assigned: dan

This continues a long story about the "background" color in
re-distilled 0.pdf . Acrobat renders it differently with 0.pdf and
with 0.pdf re-distilled by Ghostscript.

#687150 - INTERNAL - "make debug" builds optimized version.
submitted by: alex
assigned: ralph

When makefile is generated by autoconf "make debug" builds an
optimized code, which is difficult to debug. Apparently, debug
information is included in release version too.
