pdfwrite fails to embed a single CIDFontType2 with a single glyph.

The attached test file converts to PDF without error, but the
resulting pdf causes errors in Acrobat Reader and xpdf.

Igor opened this bug just to document an unpleasant feature of the old
code.  This bug doesn't require a fix, becuse the old code will be
replaced soon.  The bug to be closed after it is discussed.

#687075 - INTERNAL - A bug in dropout prevention

A minor bug is found in dropout prevention code. Sometimes it
unreasonably shifted stems in 1 pixel. A patch is attached. It causes
a massive text rendering difference.

289-01.ps fails.  With -dNOOUTERSAVE it prints an error message to the
raster.  Without -dNOOUTERSAVE it fails with /typecheck in --put--.

Running the attached file in GS from CVS HEAD errors with /typecheck
in --get--.  This apparently happens because of a call currentgray in
the PaintProc.

#687081 - CUSTOMER - PDF file produces incomplete tiff, fails to run in
		     display device

The attached file fails with a rangecheck error in the display device,
and produces an incomplete tiff file with the tiffpack driver.  It
runs fine in Adobe Reader and also in xpdf.
