[gs-devel] AFPL Ghostscript 8.14 release candidate for testing

Everyone,

Motivated by the assert problem that's plagued viewers using AFPL 
Ghostscript 8.13, we're making another release from the 8.1x stable 
branch. In the hopes of catching any other issues of this sort, we're 
doing a longer testing period this time, so please download this release 
candidate and try it out. After a week of testing this version will 
either become the official release or we'll do another round after 
fixing any important problems that come up.

In addition to the assert fix, there are quite a number of minor bug 
fixes. Also in this release is support for encrypted PDF output, a 
completely new feature from Igor Melichev. We recommend that all users 
of AFPL Ghostscript upgrade to the final 8.14 release when it's 
available.
