Viewing our PDF, the user observes boxes instead space characters.
The problem explanation appears in the bug 687464 starting from
Comment #19.  Igor can't reproduce it on any of his systems.

Reproduced on Windows with ppmraw -r72 .  The reason is that
fn_ElIn_is_monotonic is called with a value outside the function
domain.

#687512 - USER - erroneous /invalidfont error reported by gs8.14
		 pdfwrite (spr4204)

User complains that and /inavlidfont error that happens only with 8.14
and only when using pdfwrite without the ps2pdf script (ie, minus -c
.setpdfwrite).  Waiting for more information to try and reproduce.

#687514 - USER - Patches to build with long long on systems without int64

The patches below allow gs 8.30 to build with gcc 2.7.2.1 under SCO
ODT 2.0.  They should apply to other systems that support an 8 byte
"long long" but do not have system headers that define the various
int64 types.

User complains that the file fails, but Alex can't confirm it and
suggests that perhaps a decoding resource is missing in the user's
installation.

#687518 - INTERNAL - Jasper headers pollute namespace

jasper.h includes among other things jas_types.h, which doesn't so
much define types used by the libjasper api as pull in a bunch of
headers and basic typedefs for the convenience the of the library's
own compile, polluting the namespace of the client application.  In
particular, the inclusiong of stdbool.h is causing a conflict with
Ghostscript's local definition of the bool type on some systems.
