[gs-devel] robustness issues 7.05

We are using Ghostscript 7.05 in our product and I have been asked whether
it would be worth it to upgrade to the latest version.
We only display pdf files, we do not create pdf files.
I know that we could support more versions of pdf but I think that the
robustness issues would be more important in driving an upgrade.
We have to do a lot to the code (removing files and procedures) to use it in
our product.
I have looked at the release notes between each version released and still
don't get a clear picture of what the overall changes are between 7.05 and
8.6.
