A few users have complained already that Ghostscript package includes
too many unrelated files. There are many useful PostScript programs that
are not bundled with Ghostscript. IMHO identify.ps belongs to this
category.

I vote for the file to be accepted as a contributed program and
hosted in Ghostscript Subversion but separately from Ghostscript proper.

The file attached to the bug 689135 has no copyright and license
notices. I'd recommend to re-release it under GPL.
