in November, when I was writing it, I asked on here how to go about  
it, and the answer I got was, "use the epsonc driver as an example."   
So I did.

So, it's already written and running, and I am not keen on doing any  
more work.

If the answer is, "we don't want your old-fashioned driver" that's  
OK. It was just an offer.
