Hadn't heard that. We supposedly have a copyright assigned version of
the KRGB patch so it can go in the main tree. I'll see what the status
of that is.
Some general comments:
Upstream Ghostscript is dual GPL/Commercial, so we need copyright
assignment on anything going into the make src tree. Things that
can't be included in the commercial release can go in contrib,
which we will strip when we make a non-GPL release.
So things you've added to contrib and contrib.mak can stay, as can
the automake patch for ijs, but you must revert everything you've
checked into src or lib. That work needs to be on a branch until we
get 8.57 out and can discuss things, verify it builds on all platforms,
and so on.
We're waiting on a patch and review of another regression before we
can do the 8.57 release. The current plan is tomorrow.
