I gave it a test, and ported two of the devices to the new strmio error 
reporting mechanism. A number of other devices should be ported 
similarly. According to the comments, fprintf(stderr, ...) should still 
work, but it doesn't compile for me.

Currently you can't, but I can run them for you easily. Just ask when
