You can also take the distribution-independent packages from here

http://www.linuxprinting.org/download/printdriver/RPMS/

Download all ghostscript-... packages for your architecture, install the 
"lsb" package of your distribution ("yum install lsb") and then the 
packages ("rpm -Uvh ghostscript-*.rpm"). Then reboot your system and the 
new Ghostscript should be used.
