[gs-devel] xefitra concerning font loading/purging

Greetings,

I am currently developing a ghostscript output device. It is working 
fine, but performance is an issue.

The pdfs used for input reference not-embedded fonts. I map the names to 
standard (windows) truetype fonts, but after every converted page it 
seems like the font cache is cleared and I get something like:

Page x
"Loading TimesNewRomanPSMT font from 
c:\windows\fonts/times.ttf...3149784 983494 4080204 2642420 3 done."
...

But I would like the fonts to be loaded only once. Any suggestions?
