I remember that Raph showed me proudly on the LinuxWorld SF 2005 how
nice image quality rinkj gives on an Epson inkjet. He told that it is
better than Gutenprint and he promised to make the driver available one
time. After the LinuxWorld it got really forgotten.
I do not really know whether with the time Gutenprint reached the same
quality. At least Gutenprint is actively maintained and uses
standardized driver modularization methods, both CUPS Raster and IJS.
Raph, I do not know whether you still work on rinkj in your spare time,
but you probably have the latest working version of the code around. It
would be great if you could send us simply a tarball and some
documentation, so that we can replace the broken code in Ghostscript.
Otherwise we will simply remove it, Thank you very much in advance.
