Hey guys,

Thanks for your time, I haven't been able to find any other place where
update to date discussions of ghostscript issues are taking place, so I
hope you forgive my intrusion to the devel list.

I'm writing a PHP app on a Debian system that sends PDF files to the
printer via CUPS. At first, I was having problems with form-field data
not printing with the PDFs. But after upgrading to all the latest
versions of ghostscript, this was resolved.

GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.61 (2007-08-02)

Now, other, non-form field PDFs are failling to print altogether, the
bottleneck being foomatic-rip.
When you send a PDF directly to the print server it gets run through 3
filters:
pdftops:

I'm at a loss for where to go from here, since I'm not sure what kind of
changes to the gswrapper parameters would be relevant (i'm assuming that
I can hack the PPD file), nor whether previous versions of ghostscript
might be more stable.
